  • Manassas Star Tyleik Williams Primed for Early Pick in 2025 NFL Draft

Tyleik Williams, a native of Manassas, Virginia, is projected to be an early second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. After an impressive collegiate career at Ohio State, where he helped lead the Buckeyes to a College Football Playoff National Championship, Williams has firmly established himself as one of the top defensive tackles in this year's draft class, ranking third overall at his position. Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 334 pounds, he combines a commanding physical presence with a sharp football mind, earning a reputation for his extensive film study and high game intelligence. As the NFL Draft kicks off Thursday, April 24 at 8 p.m., fans can follow every pick live on 7News throughout the three-day event. (ABC7)

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors has adopted the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, prioritizing investments in education, public safety, quality of life services, and infrastructure. • New Red Light Camera Set for Liberia and Richmond Intersection in Manassas

A new red light camera will soon be installed at the intersection of Liberia Avenue and Richmond Avenue in Manassas. A 30-day warning period will begin on May 1, during which drivers will be notified of violations without facing fines. Full enforcement will start on June 1, with citations carrying a $50 fine that will not impact driver’s license points. This new camera is part of a broader city initiative to improve road safety and reduce accidents, following a 2019 ordinance authorizing red light camera use. Several other intersections in Manassas already have cameras in place, and speed cameras are active in school zones near Round Elementary, Metz Middle, and Dean Elementary Schools, where violations can lead to $100 fines.
