• Neabsco Regional Park is undergoing construction to add accessible parking spaces and a new kayak launch. The upgrades include a paved path to the boardwalk and a walk-in-only stone dust trail leading to the kayak launch, which provides access to Neabsco Creek and the Potomac River. Spanning 300 acres, the park offers natural and historic attractions, including the Neabsco Creek Boardwalk, part of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail. Construction is expected to finish by December.

• Prince William County Parks and Recreation offers a range of holiday activities this December, including a free Holiday Walk of Lights, a festive Holiday Market, a Family Gingerbread House Building Contest, Yuletide Yoga, and historic tours at Rippon Lodge. Visitors can also use the new PWC RecMapper App to enhance their park experiences.
